REFUND POLICY

To request a refund, please utilize the AQYTRA Request Refund option.

 

Under normal circumstances, here's what you should know about refunds:

  1. If you booked a hotel, car, a charter flight/ yacht or an experience with us, the refund will be processed within 48 hours of the cancellation request. The time until the refund is available on your card is dependent on the issuer. To check the status of your refund, we request you to contact the issuing bank or your credit card provider.

  2. For charters, most refunds are processed within a week of the cancellation request.

How to track your refund

 

Have a refund coming? We’ve made it easy for you to track when it’ll arrive. All you need to do is go to Trip Help and select your itinerary from the drop-down menu. Voila! You can see where your money is.

 

How it works

  • AQYTRA may take up to 24 hours to process your refund. Once that has happened, your bank or payment service (such as PayPal) will take care of the rest. Just know that it may take them up to 7 days to post the credit to your account, and up to 2 billing cycles to show the credit on your statement.

  • You’ll see the refund on your original method(s) of payment. So, say you paid using your debit card -- that’s where the money will be refunded. We’ll send you an email with the nitty-gritty’s on your refund amount, and how and when you'll get it.

  • If your credit card statement includes a charge from a third party (such as an economical airline, rental cars or cruise line), you’ll receive your refund from them and not AQYTRA. If this is the case, we request you to get in touch with the partner to ask any questions about refunds or do let us know and we would be happy to help you.

  • If you've been charged a deposit or partial payment, you'll be refunded for that amount, minus any fees. Say you paid a USD 200 deposit on your hotel, but you ended up having to cancel. If the hotel charges a USD 20 cancel fee, you’d get USD 180 back.

Other Refund Options 

In instances where customers who have pending refunds with AQYTRA do not require cash refund, such refunds may be converted into points or issued as a prepaid voucher or gift card based on customers request. In these circumstances, AQYTRA shall be the holder and responsible for the value exchanged. Thus, such refunds options will only be used on AQYTRA. 

Gift Card or Prepaid Voucher as Refund

In such circumstances where a customer request a prepaid voucher or gift card, a customer can either decide to use it for future trips or transferred to family and friends as a gift card. In this case, once exchanged, this shall be non-refundable redeemable or exchangeable for cash or otherwise. The validity of such refunds as gift card and prepaid vouchers will be between 6 months to 1 year. 

 

 

Points as Refund

Once AQYTRA approves a customer refund request as points, this will automatically be converted and delivered to said customer’s AQYTRA’s account. These points can then be applied partially or fully during future transactions on AQYTRA .
